Charitable Grant Scheme

Kington Horse Show & Agricultural Society make a limited amount of funds available each year to provide a grant for a young person to pursue an agricultural related course. The main purpose of this fund is to promote the objectives of the Society which are rooted in the improvement and sustainability of agricultural practices and infrastructure.

In addition, the President will choose a local charity to receive a donation from the Society.

Please see the information below to be considered for either of these grants.

In 2022, the President Dick Allford chose the charity 'Be more Frank' which provides financial assistance to families with a child diagnosed with cancer in the Powys, Monmouthshire & Herefordshire areas.
